The Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) designs, develops, implements and maintains most of the important information systems of Indian Railways. CRIS is mainly a project-oriented AND autonomous organisation engaged in the development of major computer systems on the Railways.

Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) was looking for a tool through which they can move applications across networks securely and rapidly. Their major concern was to protect networks against viruses but not at the cost of support. They wanted to automate the entire process and accelerate application delivery, lower costs and reduce errors.

We provided them with IBM product PureApp which is a hybrid cloud application platform which is used for deploying traditional enterprise apps such as analytics, commerce, portal, mobile and business process management to the cloud faster than ever before. It blocks the entrance of spam, and malicious codes thus securing internal mail servers with policy enforcement. The customer was able to host PureApp on a variety of operating systems which provided them a benefit over other products.
